Our Mission
Our mission is to help each of our unique dancers realize their goals in Dance and in Life, through top tier training and performance opportunities in a kind, supportive environment.
Our Goals
- To discover why each student takes dance and to fulfill their needs in an honest and realistic way
- To celebrate each student as they are right now and guide them to achieve their best whether that be for personal development, public performance, or professional study
- To promote a positive attitude, confidence, and self-discipline through a commitment to dance
- To provide equal attention, respect, and quality of education to all students regardless of talent, age, potential, level, physique, or reason for dancing
- To convey the idea that a dancer’s only true competition is the dancer that they were yesterday and to challenge themselves to be in a continuous state of improvement
- To provide a variety of performance opportunities that challenge and excite every dancer from beginners through advanced company member
- To provide our dancers with sound dance technique and a technical foundation that will not limit their dreams in Dance

Our Instructors
Dezshana Ragin
Dez was born and raised in Queens, NY. She began dancing at American Dance and Drama Studio at the age of 8, training in various genres from Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Modern. Even though she was well rounded in various styles, Miss Dez connected to Hip Hop the most. Miss Dez has had the opportunity to professionally train at Alvin Ailey and Broadway Dance Center in New York. She has taught Hip Hop for 8 years in Philadelphia, PA and is passionate about creating more pieces as she transitions to Florida. She has received numerous awards for her choreography and continues to strive for greatness, not only for herself but her students as well!

Our Location
Our Performances
Harmony Dance Academy offers a variety of performance opportunities for our dancers.
Annual Recital – Each year we hold an annual recital that showcases our Dancer’s talent in a professional environment. Our recitals are more of a “show” than a typical dance recital and we strive to make these performances as fun to watch as they are to perform.
Public Performances – Throughout the year we hold multiple public performances including through our association with Weston Town Center for Halloween, Christmas Tree Lighting and Easter events.
Competition – For our dedicated company members we support competition as an opportunity to test their skills against the best and learn through an adjudicated performance environment.
Our Dance Experiences
In addition to performances, we strive to enahnce our dancers’ abilities and love for dance through multiple other dance experiences.
Conventions – We may invite dancers to attend conventions hosted by major dance organizations which give dancers the ability to learn from a wide variety of instructors in an exciting environment.
Master Classes – On occasion, Victoria may invite premier master teachers to hold class at Harmony Dance Academy. These optional classes are a great way to experience premier instructors without leaving Weston.
Annual Trip – We hold an annual trip to provide our dancers with unique opportunities to both learn and perform. In the past, Victoria has brought her dancers to perform during the halftime of Bowl Games, in Thanksgiving Day Parades and to NYC to take class at Broadway Dance and see Broadway Shows.
Our Non Profit Foundation
To provide our dancers with the greatest performance opportunities and elevate Dance in our community, Harmony Dance Academy supports the Harmony Dance Foundation. This non-profit foundation expands dance opportunities for our dancers and the broader community through fundraising and management of many performances and competitions. The Foundation also provides parents with a structured and effective way to support our Dancers.
